25k in just one week

Yes! It's April, which means it's Camp NaNoWriMo. I decided to speed up and see what I can do in a week. Well, hello... I passed 25 000 words in less than seven days! It actually feels amazing! I know I can do another 25 000 in a week, but I've decided to focus on a really good second half and I especially have to nail the ending.

I am working on my first cozy mystery and I'm not sure if I'll be able to do it. I'e been doing a good job so far, but I am a bit concerned about the end. I've read many thrillers. Some of them have been excellent, but then the ending has been just bad writing. Maybe not even bad writing, but bad thinking.

How will I avoid this? Don't know! Only time will tell. The purpose of Camp NaNo is to get 50 000 words written in just a month. People all over the world try it and people all over the world succeed. I have no clue what happens to the novels after thirty days. I will edit my book (yes, I'm already talking about it as my book), try to improve it, and then my plan is that my beta readers can enjoy it this summer. I will then edit it again and hopefully this fall some agents will get query letters from me.

Good old cozy mysteries. I really like them. I hope you will like mine!

Off to a good start

Oh yeah! Nearly 10 000 words written in two days. It's Camp NaNoWriMo you suckers :D
It's been great to write! It's my first murder mystery ever and I've never ever thought I could write a murder mystery like this. Let's see how it goes. By the end of April I'll know what happened.

I don't actually know what'll happen in my book. I know who the killer is, but that could change. I've finally gotten to know my suspects and they turned out to be totally different from what I had thought. That's what's fun about writing. Things just happen. I've also created a fabulous PC and a disgusting Police Chief. Great characters make the book, right?!
